R.I.P R.I.P
Occasionally when I see an example of human incompetence, idiocy or stupidity, instead of laughing it off and using it to make me feel better about myself (I am a simple human being after all,) I instead become very depressed at the very thought of the ‘peak of intelligence’ that is humankind. I’m just not sure what emotions are evoked by the Facebook ‘like’ page ‘R.I.P 9/11’.
For those curious, I found this page when my little brother joined it. When asked why he joined, he replied that ‘I was just invited to it so I just said yes’, and when pressed even further on his actions, it was clear to see that he had the behavioural instincts of an airborne lemming. This in itself was a relief as if he’d read the page and decided to join out of his own free will I think I would have been flung into a terrible spin cycle of depression. Whether he knows why ‘God even created terrarists’ is another matter that for my own sake I shall not investigate further.
We shall now take a look into the photo album titled ‘PLANE CRASH (FEILD)’.
I have so many questions relating to this picture that I don’t think the answers could ever be satisfactory; the main one being the old ‘HOW HAVE YOU MANAGED TO CREATE WHAT COULD QUITE POSSIBLY BE THE MOST OFFENSIVE PICTURE IN THE WORLD?’ question. I’d even go so far to say that this picture manages to make the special effects on that Alpha & Omega film look good (the most damning indictment I could possibly come up with).
We now move onto the ‘R.I.P 9/11’ wall of shame. Daniel Towe’s comment may be the most fantastically insensitive thing I have ever seen in my life; in fact I think I might send him a tube of peppermint lube as not everyone may be ready to handle the raw uncensored shit he’ll pound you with.
But alas, all good things do indeed come to an end and as of today I discovered that ‘R.I.P 9/11’ had been removed from Facebook. So, I shall take a page out of ‘R.I.P 9/11’ by demanding that all who read this blog must take two minutes of silence to remember not only the atrocities of the September 11th, but also as a moment to remember the lengths people will go to in order to make themselves feel popular on Facebook. R.I.P R.I.P 9/11.
