Adam/A.D.M

I first became aware of Adam/A.D.M through that lowest common denominator known as ITV’s ‘Take Me Out’. Those sparkly eyes, those pitch perfect notes, those two mobile phones…

Good example here for all couples here; you can wallpaper over those structurally inherent weaknesses in your relationship by just ignoring what your other half says. It really is that easy.

Determined to distance himself from namesake Sandler, Adam has seemingly undergone a radical name change by removing a whopping 25% of the letters present in his first name. Evidently A.D.M is keen not to dwell on the ten minutes he spent on ‘Take Me Out’ by moving onto a completely different topic.

I don’t see Charlene about anywhere which leads me to believe that the pampering session for A.D.M’s M.U.M obviously went T.I.T.S U.P.  I bet for sho sho she got pushed out the picture quicker than a camerawoman gets pushed out a recording studio.

Enter D.I.Y budget video.

To give A.D.M credit I did expect a lot worse. The song begins with A.D.M’s ode to the letters he lost in the re-branding (a surprisingly touching moment), followed by a full run out for Powerpoint 2007, a case of either subliminal advertisement at its worst or a sentimental goodbye to an old friend. Kudos goes to A.D.M for avoiding any taxi related ‘taking you out’ lyrical faux-pas, an area that you skirted around with your motor vehicle based metaphors that in the future I’d recommend just generally avoiding completely. We are all deeply scarred by these recent incidents and if I can’t trust the dog abusing, Paul Gascoigne acquainted crazy down the road, who can I trust? Certainly not someone who has two mobile phones, sings ‘I wanna take you out’ and whose name by choice is an anagram of MAD. So watch out for that in the future.
